i have signed up for the summer learning journey. and in the summer learning journey there is new task everyday or week and we do them, then if we do really well we get prizes or thats what they say and they the task i did is the geometree and in those task you have to make a tree from shapes. and here is my tree not the best but its ok.

Camp movie

hello fellow bloggers or just viewers since my class came from camp we have been making camp movies. i think the hardest part of the movie was using stuff that was premium because if the school payed for premium it would be a lot of money so yea.  the software we used is WeVideo which is a pretty good software to edit on, even though i prefer capcut. (this is not a ad) anyways here is my movie and enjoy.

the traumatizing hill walk

 Ordinary school morning right? WRONG, it's camp time. I have no idea what it's like but its kinda like a sleepover but not really. Anyways, I arrived at school quite early and played on the playground until some of my other friends came and started a football game. After that one of our teachers, Miss Bunting, came and told us to come to class, so we did. Inside we got told what's gonna happen, what tribe were in, got handed a booklet and got our money. Later on  we got on our busses, there were 2 busses one for tribe 1 and 2 the other for 3 and 4, i was in tribe 4 so the 2nd bus which meant i was with Devon, Jf, Oli and Codi and some others. It was about a 30 to 40 minute drive there. When we got to Gouverneurs Bay there was a small skate park so that's where we stopped for morning tea. After morning tea 2 instructors from living springs came and said we will be walking the rest of the way. I didn't think it would be long so we started walking and did some stops and got told what happened here. After a while it felt like we were walking for ages. I asked what time we would reach there and the instructor said 1 pm AND IT WAS ONLY 9 so there i was miserable i do walking on a daily basis but 4 hours no way, we passed streets, farms and other lakes. Anyways we got to this like a big rusty shack and I thought that was the place we were gonna stay in man oh man did I feel disappointed. But there was good news and bad news. The good news was it wasn’t the place we were gonna stay in. The bad news was we had to walk another 1-2 hours UPHILL and it was so hot it was kinda unwelcoming. I was kinda used to hikes like 40 minute hikes but neary a 2 hour hike no way.  So we started the hike. It was no problem. I even had my hoodie on. We carried on for like 20 minutes then that's when it hit us. The good thing was that we did stops throughout

the way, on the 3rd stop i got my drink bottle. When I tried to drink

\ some water there was nothing inside. I already finished it before the

walk up the hill. That's when I knew I messed up badly. I started to ask

my friends if i could have some of their water not lip it but do a waterfall.

Barely anyone had water but one of my friends had blue powerade

which he offered so I had some we carried walking past forests, sheeps

horses, chickens and pigs. Whole farms. It started to get scorching hot

but i didn't want to take off my hoodie since if i took it off when we got

there it would be a huge refinishing part so i didn't. i don't know why but

it felt as like we were climbing mt everest.and finally we got there i was

so puffed it was a huge relief when we got there and i finally took of my

hoodie i wander how the actual camps gonna be like... part 2 ???

The hole

 As I go through the library I see the book I've wanted for ages. I went towards it but then all of a sudden it felt as if I was walking on air. When i looked down i was correct basically walking on air, i started falling really fast down this random hole, my instincts came in clutch... kinda by getting myself ready for the fall but i was still falling. my brain took a moment to realise what just happened. 

It felt as if I was floating. I tried to get a grip on the wooden frame on the side of the hole. But it was no help, i was going to fast for me to get a grip and the amount of splinters i was getting it hurt alot. after a while it felt like i was falling for hours whats gonna happen when i reached the ground, how deep is this hole i start to think whats gonna happen next.

how maui discovered fire

 

 Hello fellow bloggers commenters or just viewers. this week is something special unlike the other weeks. since it is maori language week. as you know or don't that every week or most weeks we pick a book read about it. the book i chose was how maui discovered fire. in the book i said how maui discovered let me summarize the story. so maui wants to learn more about fire so he blows out the fire in the village all of his ancestors get made at him and tells him how they're gonna stay warm and cook food. so he volunteers to go and get fire from the fire goddess. so he go's to her cave and says "can i have some fire" so the fire goddess gives him one of her nails then he went but threw it in the stream he went back and said he tripped he got another since the fire goddess liked time he did that 9 times. then there was no more nails she got mad and attacked maui then he turns into a eagle and beggs the wind of god to help him the fire goes out he finds 2 dry sticks and rubs them together down below is my create task also make sure to check all my work and it won't hurt to leave some feedback. ㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤ

Hello fellow bloggers commenters or just viewers. this week is something special unlike the other weeks. as you know or don't that every week or most weeks we pick a book and read and write about it. This week we did inspiring people like Walt Disney, Nelson Mandela, Martin Luther king jr, Annelies Marie Frank etc. i picked Annelies Marie Frank (or Anne Frank as her nick name and what the book is named). in the book there was facts and information about her like. she had a older sister Margot Frank. And she Had to hide from the Nazis because of hitler for 2 years, but her anne, her mum, dad and sister got caught they got sent to a concentration camp. anne her sister and her mum died. and the only person who survived in there family was his dad Otto frank. yea there was stuff like that in the book. also make sure to check all my work and it won't hurt to leave some feedback.

hello fellow bloggers or viewers. this week and the last week mrs Clifford yea sad times she's going to auckland and not coming back but there is a new teacher who's name is unknown anyways. she came to our class for cybersmart we did a sheet on our chrome book where there is images and you put if its personal or private so can you share or not share. and this is my work if you agree or disagree comment and it wont hurt to leave some feed back.

Uru Manuka Student Summit

This week there was a student summit where 15 people from each School in the Uru Manuka cluster gathered and taught each other how to use apps or websites. some schools were our school wigram, yaldhurst, south hornby, hornby primary who were the host and kindly let the cluster use there school. then there was other schools etc. 3-5 people out of the 15 from school were presenters and the rest who learned. the ones who presented from our school was me (Zia) and Karaitiana the others were Lucas and Mya. me and kk did it way better in my opinion not just myn also kk thinks that also. anyways lucas and Mya did how to upgrade your google slides to the next level BORING. me and kk did how to use google forms and turn it into a quiz we did 2 lessons our first one a bit mixed but half way thru we did good and on our second lesson it was chill and we were relaxed like we were real teachers. it was a fun experience for all of us and we had a great time.           here is some photos down below

 hello fellow bloggers commenters or just viewers. unlike last week this week is different since it being book week. there was famous and iconic picture books such as wonkey donkey, you are special, hairy maclary, where the wild things are ect. and i picked wonkey donkey, there are four create tasks the first one is like when wonkey donkey is up to mischief and you add a character that acts like him. i found this weeks create tasks harder than the other ones, that's one of the many reasons i didn't get as much work done as other times. make sure to leave some feedback.

The red ball (reading create)

 Hello fellow bloggers commenters or just viewers. this week is nothing special as you know or don't that every week or most weeks we pick a book and read and write about it. This week i picked the book the red ball the story is about two sisters named Ida and May. Ida was the older sister but the shy and quiet and sometimes clumsy May was the opposite she was loud, fast and never missed a catch. May was better at everything it wasn’t fair for Ida and one day the principal at school said that May was going to the regional athletics competition. Ida was such in a mood after that they went to the playground and May took her favourite red ball Ida took the ball of her and threw it away. May said she was mean and went for the ball Ida went on the swing then saw a girl who swore didn't see when she got on the swing. she was wearing a sparkly floaty dress the girl said is that your sister Ida replied yes but i wish she wasn't .The girl later on said say this if you don't want her as your sister anymore fairy folk so wild so free take my sister away from me. Ida says it then the girl teleports to May and they both are on the roundabout toy and they spin really fast and disappear Ida panics and takes it back so she goes on the roundabout and spins herself really fast and says fairy folk so wild so free give my sister back to me. then she magically teleports to a forest she sees her sister in the middle of dancing fairies the girl from before see’s her and says what do you want. Ida says i want my sister back then all of a sudden There is 3 Mays and the girls says if you guess which is your sister you can take her back but Ida has a plan she throws the ball at all three of them and 2 of them flinches and takes cove but May catches it and they teleport back to the playground they both go back home. This description counts as a create task 1 that's why there isn't a reading create task 1 below and make sure to check all my work and it won't hurt to leave some feedback

Hello fellow bloggers commenters or just viewers this week is nothing special as you know or should know that every week or most weeks we pick a book and read and write about it this week i picked the book swallowed by the sea it's about a girl and her mum (names unknown but we will call her melina) get hit by a huge storm rubbish bins fall down tree branches gets swinged really hard and hit the windows melina goes under her warm blankets and goes to sleep the next day the mum and melina get there wet weather gear and go to the beach which i think is not a good idea melina goes in the water which is and even worse idea melina loses her gumboots in the water they all go home and relax this description counts as a create task 1 thats why there isnt a reading create task 1 below and make sure to check all my work and it won't hurt to leave some feedback

little pig 3.0

One day there was a wolf who was baking a cake but had no sugar.so he gets a measuring cup and goes to the little pigs straw house. And thinks the pig is stupid for making a house out of straw. After that thought he knocks no answer he says “little pig, little pig let me in” next the pig says “not by the hair on my chinny chin chin”. All of a sudden the wolf had an urge to sneeze . just like that he sneezes one big sneeze then bam the house crashes down. “Help help i'm stuck “ the wolf sees a pig suck in the ground head first.  Wolf being confused on how he got there in the first place. So he sprinkled some sugar on the pig and. ate him raw and took the sugar home and carried on baking. Knock knock knock there is someone at the door the wolf goes to open it… its the fbi “why are you here” says the wolf the fbi say we have witness reports from mr sheep that you have murdered mr pig and stolen sugar. I'm gonna have to take you away. Later that day the wolf ends up in jail for murder, vandalism, trespassing and theft. Then a reporter changed the story and ended up to the story we all know .

 Hello fellow bloggers commenters or just viewers this week is nothing special as you know or should know that every week or most weeks we pick a book and read and write about it this week i picked the book earthquake its is about family of 4 the only name it says is the little girl who’s name is Elli names who gets caught in the 2010 christchurch earthquake the girl in the family gets woken up and gets scared and having no power makes it scarier her dad comes and sines a torch at her and the dad goes and looks for the radio and the mum goes and fills up pots to save some water and just like that the water cuts off then they go shopping in the morning and bluh bluh bluh. Thats what its about there should be a create task under below and check it out and it won't hurt to leave some feedback

The weird zone reading create task

 Hi guys this is the first i've blogged so it's gonna be a good blog post. The writing after this is what's happening in the book you have to read to know what happened and who the characters are you have to check my first create task and the rest if you want. This is the first time dad and the kids have been camping since mum and dad got a divorce. Then he starts acting weird and nobody knew why check to know what happened and who the characters are.
