the traumatizing hill walk

 Ordinary school morning right? WRONG, it's camp time. I have no idea what it's like but its kinda like a sleepover but not really. Anyways, I arrived at school quite early and played on the playground until some of my other friends came and started a football game. After that one of our teachers, Miss Bunting, came and told us to come to class, so we did. Inside we got told what's gonna happen, what tribe were in, got handed a booklet and got our money. Later on  we got on our busses, there were 2 busses one for tribe 1 and 2 the other for 3 and 4, i was in tribe 4 so the 2nd bus which meant i was with Devon, Jf, Oli and Codi and some others. It was about a 30 to 40 minute drive there. When we got to Gouverneurs Bay there was a small skate park so that's where we stopped for morning tea. After morning tea 2 instructors from living springs came and said we will be walking the rest of the way. I didn't think it would be long so we started walking and did some stops and got told what happened here. After a while it felt like we were walking for ages. I asked what time we would reach there and the instructor said 1 pm AND IT WAS ONLY 9 so there i was miserable i do walking on a daily basis but 4 hours no way, we passed streets, farms and other lakes. Anyways we got to this like a big rusty shack and I thought that was the place we were gonna stay in man oh man did I feel disappointed. But there was good news and bad news. The good news was it wasn’t the place we were gonna stay in. The bad news was we had to walk another 1-2 hours UPHILL and it was so hot it was kinda unwelcoming. I was kinda used to hikes like 40 minute hikes but neary a 2 hour hike no way.  So we started the hike. It was no problem. I even had my hoodie on. We carried on for like 20 minutes then that's when it hit us. The good thing was that we did stops throughout

the way, on the 3rd stop i got my drink bottle. When I tried to drink

\ some water there was nothing inside. I already finished it before the

walk up the hill. That's when I knew I messed up badly. I started to ask

my friends if i could have some of their water not lip it but do a waterfall.

Barely anyone had water but one of my friends had blue powerade

which he offered so I had some we carried walking past forests, sheeps

horses, chickens and pigs. Whole farms. It started to get scorching hot

but i didn't want to take off my hoodie since if i took it off when we got

there it would be a huge refinishing part so i didn't. i don't know why but

it felt as like we were climbing mt everest.and finally we got there i was

so puffed it was a huge relief when we got there and i finally took of my

hoodie i wander how the actual camps gonna be like... part 2 ???
