i have signed up for the summer learning journey. and in the summer learning journey there is new task everyday or week and we do them, then if we do really well we get prizes or thats what they say and they the task i did is the geometree and in those task you have to make a tree from shapes. and here is my tree not the best but its ok.

Camp movie

hello fellow bloggers or just viewers since my class came from camp we have been making camp movies. i think the hardest part of the movie was using stuff that was premium because if the school payed for premium it would be a lot of money so yea.  the software we used is WeVideo which is a pretty good software to edit on, even though i prefer capcut. (this is not a ad) anyways here is my movie and enjoy.

the traumatizing hill walk

 Ordinary school morning right? WRONG, it's camp time. I have no idea what it's like but its kinda like a sleepover but not really. Anyways, I arrived at school quite early and played on the playground until some of my other friends came and started a football game. After that one of our teachers, Miss Bunting, came and told us to come to class, so we did. Inside we got told what's gonna happen, what tribe were in, got handed a booklet and got our money. Later on  we got on our busses, there were 2 busses one for tribe 1 and 2 the other for 3 and 4, i was in tribe 4 so the 2nd bus which meant i was with Devon, Jf, Oli and Codi and some others. It was about a 30 to 40 minute drive there. When we got to Gouverneurs Bay there was a small skate park so that's where we stopped for morning tea. After morning tea 2 instructors from living springs came and said we will be walking the rest of the way. I didn't think it would be long so we started walking and did some stops and got told what happened here. After a while it felt like we were walking for ages. I asked what time we would reach there and the instructor said 1 pm AND IT WAS ONLY 9 so there i was miserable i do walking on a daily basis but 4 hours no way, we passed streets, farms and other lakes. Anyways we got to this like a big rusty shack and I thought that was the place we were gonna stay in man oh man did I feel disappointed. But there was good news and bad news. The good news was it wasn’t the place we were gonna stay in. The bad news was we had to walk another 1-2 hours UPHILL and it was so hot it was kinda unwelcoming. I was kinda used to hikes like 40 minute hikes but neary a 2 hour hike no way.  So we started the hike. It was no problem. I even had my hoodie on. We carried on for like 20 minutes then that's when it hit us. The good thing was that we did stops throughout

the way, on the 3rd stop i got my drink bottle. When I tried to drink

\ some water there was nothing inside. I already finished it before the

walk up the hill. That's when I knew I messed up badly. I started to ask

my friends if i could have some of their water not lip it but do a waterfall.

Barely anyone had water but one of my friends had blue powerade

which he offered so I had some we carried walking past forests, sheeps

horses, chickens and pigs. Whole farms. It started to get scorching hot

but i didn't want to take off my hoodie since if i took it off when we got

there it would be a huge refinishing part so i didn't. i don't know why but

it felt as like we were climbing mt everest.and finally we got there i was

so puffed it was a huge relief when we got there and i finally took of my

hoodie i wander how the actual camps gonna be like... part 2 ???

The hole

 As I go through the library I see the book I've wanted for ages. I went towards it but then all of a sudden it felt as if I was walking on air. When i looked down i was correct basically walking on air, i started falling really fast down this random hole, my instincts came in clutch... kinda by getting myself ready for the fall but i was still falling. my brain took a moment to realise what just happened. 

It felt as if I was floating. I tried to get a grip on the wooden frame on the side of the hole. But it was no help, i was going to fast for me to get a grip and the amount of splinters i was getting it hurt alot. after a while it felt like i was falling for hours whats gonna happen when i reached the ground, how deep is this hole i start to think whats gonna happen next.

how maui discovered fire

 

 Hello fellow bloggers commenters or just viewers. this week is something special unlike the other weeks. since it is maori language week. as you know or don't that every week or most weeks we pick a book read about it. the book i chose was how maui discovered fire. in the book i said how maui discovered let me summarize the story. so maui wants to learn more about fire so he blows out the fire in the village all of his ancestors get made at him and tells him how they're gonna stay warm and cook food. so he volunteers to go and get fire from the fire goddess. so he go's to her cave and says "can i have some fire" so the fire goddess gives him one of her nails then he went but threw it in the stream he went back and said he tripped he got another since the fire goddess liked time he did that 9 times. then there was no more nails she got mad and attacked maui then he turns into a eagle and beggs the wind of god to help him the fire goes out he finds 2 dry sticks and rubs them together down below is my create task also make sure to check all my work and it won't hurt to leave some feedback. ㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤ
